Quiet, restful camping, fishing and nature trails can be found at 357-acre Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Recreation area.
The area is noted for its extensive mature sand pine forest and the plant and animal life found in the park and in Rocky Bayou's nearby wetlands.
Rocky Bayou State Recreation Area is located five miles east of Niceville on S.R. 20.
